With NVIDIA GeForce Now being named as the exclusive streaming partner of The Game Awards. It should come as no surprise that we were going to see some content made available.
In celebration of the Game Awards, there are a number of never-before- played demos, including some of the most anticipated games of the year.
The demos will be made available free via Steam. Check them out below
A Juggler’s Tale
““A Juggler’s Tale” is an atmospheric 3D sidescroller set in a medieval puppet theater play. The string puppet Abby flees from her captors into freedom and adventure: a world of beauty and wonder – but also danger!
Lead Abby the string puppet through a bruised, but beautiful world in this poetic adventure. Solve riddles, evade traps, and shake off pursuers on your way to find freedom. Can Abby take control of her own fate and make a difference with all the strings attached?”
“Ami is a puzzle-platformer with a deep story. Together with the main character you get to learn the drama of this world.”
“Are you ready to get sliced in half? The year is 2089 and a giant disc has appeared in orbit of Jupiter. Step into the oversized space suit of a brave scientist and explore this sprawling intergalactic slaughterhouse.”
“Action, mystery, and a chance for redemption await you in the gritty action first person puzzler GRAVEN. Explore a dark fantasy world as a wrongly convicted man of faith. Battle the horrors of humanity, the wilds, and beyond using the environment, magic, and armaments.”
Guinea Pig Parkour
“Guinea Pig Parkour is a hand-drawn, comedy parkour platformer adventure, presented as a lost ’90s animated cartoon show. Run, jump, flip, vault, and climb through ’90s inspired cartoon worlds. Featuring painstakingly crafted, fluid, hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animation – all made by one artist.”
“Olija is a game about Faraday’s quest, a man shipwrecked then trapped in the mysterious country of Terraphage. Armed with a legendary harpoon, he and other castaways try to leave this hostile country to return to their homelands.”
“Selfloss is a story-driven adventure game about the kind old man in a fantasy setting of Ancient Russian and Icelandic myths. Use the light of your staff to defeat mythical creatures from slavic fairy tales and help those who need help.”
Song of Iron
“Song of Iron is a moody and provoking action adventure, a dive into a dark Nordic world. As your journey takes you across the land toward the home of the gods you will fight through man, monster and nature itself to reach the end.
Behind you lies a trail of broken helms, shattered shields. You hold the axe of a fallen foe. Worn and dented, it will suit it’s purpose. What lies ahead is still a mystery.”
There’s plenty to try out from this list and it’s worth noting that the games are only going to be made available for a limited time, so why not jump in and try them out on GeForce Now when taking that well-earned break from CyberPunk 2077.
