According to The Nerf Report’s latest video, some big news may be in the works. It turns out that not only Stadia getting an exclusive demo, and level for Immortals Fenyx Rising, but Stadia may also have the exclusive marketing rights for the game as well.
This would be a big deal because this would be the first third party game that the platform has had these rights to. This would be a huge step for the platform, and one that could help to solidify its place in the market. This also would give a compelling reason to try out the platform. The demo itself will be free to anyone with a Gmail account. That’s just about everybody.
This game expands the growing library of Ubisoft games available on the platform, the latest addition being Uno. It also shows how much the publisher is behind this platform. We also have the impending release of UPlay+ which will add even more games at a monthly fee. No details are known about when it will be available, and for how much. The overall fact is that it is coming soon, and that will only strengthen the partnership.
Immortals Fenyx Rising is set to release in December 2020, and the free demo will be available soon. Pre-orders are being taken now with payment being delayed until the game releases in the Stadia Store.
