Cloudy with a Chance of Games

In an interview with PC Gamer and reported by Wccftech it is being reported that Ray Tracing will only be available on GeForce cards on PC and on GeForce Now at launch. Ray Tracing will available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X next year when the Cyberpunk gets the enchancements for the next gen consoles. You will be able to play Cyberpunk with Raytracing via cloud services day 1 with GeForce Now. While Stadia is not mentioned it could be because of the Good Stuff announcements for this week.

Ray tracing will only be available on PCs with GeForce graphics cards or via GeForce NOW at launch, though we expect that it’ll be eventually compatible with AMD’s new Navi graphics cards as well as being featured on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X once the proper enhancement updates drop for the next-gen consoles in 2021.

I have been playing since the Commodore 64 days and have basically played every console going since then including the Ouya! I have been a fan of cloud gaming since the Onlive days and that was my favorite platform. Cloud gaming will revolutionize how we play games going forward and it is just a matter of time when it takes off.
