What’s going on with Google Stadia? We are only in 14 countries still in late 2020. And we rarely hear from the Stadia team. We all know that PR from Google Stadia team has not been on today’s agenda or high in priorities. Some theories are that Google collecting data from people, to make Stadia a better product.

It may well be so, but one theory I have why Google’s focus on PR is not there. It Is because of them expanding data centers around the world. To cover the data capacity of countries that do not have the best coverage. We have eight data center locations in the U.S., one in South America, four in Europe, and two in Asia. That is small number to reach the whole world. Google has bought approx. 200 hectares of property near the city of Skien, Norway, and it is a fairly strategic location. We will probably also hear about more data centers soon.To reach more countries with Google Stadia

What do you think?

  1. I personally would love to see Call Of Duty on the list as well and the new one to be released as I asked for Google Stadia bundle to my wife for my birthday In October. I would really love to see sometime in the future if Microsoft would be willing to put Forza on Stadia as that is the only reason I keep playing my Xbox for it is the ultimate racing game for me and Now we have the Tony Stewart All American Racing and Tony Stewart Sprint Car Racing as well.
