Cloudy with a Chance of Games

Cloud gaming is infinitely expandable, and with the potential for games to be added on services so easily, it’s no wonder developers are keen to get their titles to a new audience. From the other green team this week, we have some exciting new titles and updates.

14 new titles will be coming onto the platform this week, with another day-and-date release in the form of Nigate Tale.

Nigate Tale

Dungeon crawling games are definitely a hit with a lot of gamers. So are anime art styles. Blend the two together and you’ve got Nigate Tale, an anime style Hades. Neat right?

Nigate Tale is a rogue-like dungeon crawler with unique low-poly and 2D anime art. Fight your way out of a mysterious enchanted castle, searching for materials and loot to buy and craft new equipment, leveling up your character to get new combat skills and befriending cute monster girls capable of boosting you with astonishing magical powers!

In Nigate Tale you play as Roy, a crafty young engineer and adventurer. One day, you were flying in your airplane when a strange cloud sucked you into a strange, unknown world. You crashed in the sewers of a castle, inhabited by strange magical creatures. You have to explore every corner of this ever-changing castle to find all the missing parts… and piece together the secret story of this place, unveiling the thousands-years-old mystery that trapped it out of time and space.

As for the rest of the games, we’ve got two entries from the Torchlight series, Far Cry 2 and the lewd and rude Postal 4. Here’s the full list of titles you can enjoy today:

  • Nigate Tale (day-and-date release on Steam, April 12)
  • AO Tennis 2 (Steam)
  • Beholder 2 (Steam)
  • Far Cry 2: Fortune’s Edition (Epic Games Store)

  • Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest (Steam)
  • Yes, Your Grace (Steam)

New RTX/DLSS Support

Aside from new games, we also have some titles receiving RTX and DLSS updates from today too. Souls-like RPG Mortal Shell is receiving the RTX treatment, whilst Medieval Dynasty and Observer: System Redux will have DLSS to boost image quality and keep those high frames. It’s great to see more titles slowly but surely get RTX/DLSS updates, hopefully we get more sooner.

Is that everything? Not quite! Clearly eyeing up Stadia’s free Pro games that drop every so often, GeForce Now members are soon to be showered with more rewards! For this week, Spellbreak players will have the opportunity to claim a rare in-game outfit, adding to the list of rewards including Discord, ARK: Survival Evolved, Hyperscape, Warface, Warframe and more.

We love our weekly cloud gaming updates. Between Stadia Tuesday’s and GFN Thursday’s, there’s never been a better time to be a gamer with their hardware in the clouds. Explore, create, conquer, but most importantly, have fun, whichever platforms you love.
